When does Delaware County Public Health offer vaccinations?
- The Health Department’s Clinic offers immunization services for babies, children, teenagers, adults, pregnant women, and seniors.
- Immunization clinics are held at Delaware County Public Health on the second Friday of every month from 2:30pm-4:30pm.

Why should I get vaccinated?
Thanks to vaccines, many infectious diseases that were once common in the United States have been controlled and, in some cases, eradicated. Vaccines help prevent infectious diseases and save lives. By immunizing on time, you can protect your baby, child, and yourself and also protect others at home, school, daycare, or work.
Infant & Child Vaccinations
How do vaccines work with your child’s immune system to fight infections? Vaccines contain a small number of weakened or dead antigens, the parts of germs that cause a baby’s immune system to go to work. After babies receive a vaccine, their immune system will remember that antigen and attack it if it ever enters the body again. Vaccines only contain a tiny fraction of the antigens that babies encounter in their everyday surroundings.
