Examination Information

In order to take a civil service examination, you must:

  • Complete a Delaware County Application for Examination/Employment
  • File the Application and Pay the applicable Fee within the announced filing period (deadline)

Please note:

  • The Application is available on this website or at the Delaware County Personnel Office.
  • After an examination deadline is closed, the Personnel Office will not accept applications for the associated examination title.
  • Under certain circumstances the examination fee may be waived.  Review the Fee Waiver Form to determine if you are eligible.

Scheduled Open Competitive and Promotional Exams

Please refer to the individual exam announcements for minimum qualifications, filing periods, and application fees. Click on the exam title to obtain the related announcement. You may print a copy for further reference. Applications and Fees must be filed with the Delaware County Personnel Office NO LATER than 4:30pm on the noted filing date deadline.

Continuous Recruitment Open Competitive Exams
