Mission:

The Delaware County Substance Abuse Treatment Court will make the community a safer place to live by changing the behavior of adult, non-violent, drug or alcohol abusing individuals through firm and effective supervision and treatment. Substance addiction is a disease which if untreated results in an increase in criminal and anti-social behavior. Addiction can be successfully treated. Our treatment court provides convicted offenders with intensive substance abuse treatment, supervision, drug testing and monitoring through individualized treatment plans. We hope to significantly reduce criminal activity in our county by empowering treatment court participants to achieve life long recovery and become responsible, productive members of our community.
